I recently had the opportunity to visit family in Israel. This is a trip that I used to make much more often, but haven’t been so fortunate since graduating college and entering the workforce. It was a very short trip, half of which was really, REALLY rainy, however I managed to make the most of it and enjoy some of my favorite things while managing to visit with all of my family scattered across the country. Here are just a few snaps from my trip!
One of my missions for the trip was to eat as much Falafel as humanly possible. While I didn’t get as much as I would have liked, I was able to enjoy the most authentic lunch by following my nose in the market in Jerusalem to find this tiny shack for a delicious feast. To say that this place was small would be an understatement – probably 60 sq.ft. total. All that clutter on the table is stuff that I had in my hands or pockets and couldn’t twist around to put away in my bag under my seat! And yes, that’s my germ gel sitting on the table. I was a bit obsessed on this trip – blame it on my nurse Mother – Hi Mom!!
