Tara and Lann were married a few weeks ago at Creekside with a beautiful sunset as the backdrop. I couldn’t be happier for them as they start their next life’s journey together. Congratulations, you two!

July 11, 2012I couldn’t have been more excited and honored when Tara approached me about shooting her wedding this coming fall. We worked together for many years, and it’s always great to get to capture the memories of my friends!!
A few weeks ago, I got to meet up with her and Lann for their engagement session. I always like to pick locations that are special to the couple so that there’s some symbolism in the pictures. I just happened to suggest the Capital as I knew that the grounds are always perfectly manicured and green, and it just so happens that Lann works there! So not only did we get to shoot on the pretty grounds, we got to give ourselves a private tour inside before it opened for the day and filled up with tourists! It’s a pretty amazing place, but WAY cooler when you’re the only people inside. From there, we made a quick trip to Easy Tiger which is one of the spots in town that they like to spend time. The staff there is super-cool and gave us permission to take pictures. If you haven’t been there yet, it’s a must-go. I got to enjoy one of the best Croissants au chocolat that I’ve ever had outside of France. I hear their soft pretzels are the best in town, so I’ll be making a return trip soon!

March 25, 2012Susan and Mark booked me the week before their wedding. I can’t even begin to say how awesome it was that I was still available and that I got to experience this wedding. From the weather, to the couple, to the company… and OH! THE MUSIC! It was truly a spectacular event!

November 21, 2011On a beautiful day just a few weeks ago, Jeanine and Scott were married. Then they had one of the most fun wedding receptions that I’ve ever been witness too. Live music is great at a wedding, but Radiostar took it to the next level. I’ve never seen so many guests on the dance floor, and I think it’s obvious from the pictures that everyone had a blast.
